Jillian and Joyce lose out in the Semi Finals

Unfortunately Jillian and Joyce failed to make it to the final of the Daily Mail Foursomes today, they lost 4-3 to Oakridge this morning, however, we are very proud of their achievement making it to the semi final stages.

Well done both.
P&K Team Player through to Semi's Daily Mail Foursomes

County Team player Jillian Milne along with her partner Joyce Ewing have stormed through to the semi final stages of the Daily Mail Foursomes held over Forest of Arder golf course. Jillian (5) and Joyce (21) representing Craigiehill are the only Scottish players remaining in the competition after Scottish Vet player Moira Thomson and S Spiewak representing Berwick were knockout out in the first round.

Jillian and Joyce played the pairing from Royston in the morning match and won 3-1. In the afternoon the pair played Maldon and won 5-3.

Jillian and Joyce play Oakridge this morning teeing off at 8.24am.

I will keep you posted of the results as I hear them. On behalf of P&K we wish Jillian and Joyce all the very best this morning.

The final results of Nick Faldo Series 2004 - Carly Booth 2nd Girl Posted by Hello
Carly Finishes 2nd at Burhall

Carly finishes 2nd girl in the Nick Faldo Series played over Burhall Course. After a shaky first round score of 82 Carly buckled down and scored a fabulous 71 on her second round over a par 73 course, the lowest score of the round. Not only did this propel her up the leader board but also helped lower her handicap down to 2.4.
Carly and a few others were honoured by a round with the man himself!!

Sally does us proud at Gleneagles

Sally Kettlewell (Dunblane) was P&K's only qualifier for the Bank of Scotland Junior Masters Final which was held over the Queens Course at Gleneagles yesterday. Sally, handicap 7, tied 3rd with 32 points however following a countback ended 4th. Sally's success is even greater considering the standard of competitors. Rachael Livingstone, who plays off five and gained her first Scotland cap in the girls' home internationals at Strathaven in August, won the girls' title with the very good total of 40pt. In second place was Katy McNicoll, a semi finalist in the North of Scotland held over Strathmore this year. Also included in the field was Rebbeca Wilson, Kelsey MacDonald and Michele Thomson.

Our congratulations go to Sally, what an end to what has been a super season for her.
