CARLY FINISHES JOINT 13TH

After two par rounds of 72, and a final total of 297, Team member Carly Booth finished the British Womens Open in tied 13th. What a fantastic achievment for one so young. After congratulating Carly last night, she said she was happy with her perfomance but still felt it could have been better!
Emily had a final round 82, making her total 313 finishing joint 39th. The overall winner was Dunblane member Heather Macrae. Great to see the Trophy remaining in Scotland!

Well done to all girls.

CARLY SHOOTS ANOTHER PAR ROUND

Carly Booth has completed her final round at the British Womens Open Championship and finished in style with another par round of 72. Excellent golf by Carly, lets not forget she is still only 13 years old! This places her equal 17th at present but with many still to complete there round this may change. Carly final round consisted of two bogeys at the 1st and 6th holes and two birdies at the 2nd and 10th. Well done Carly

Emily has still to complete her final round.
3RD ROUND RESULTS

Carly Booth posted an excellent par round of 72 this morning which brought her into joint 18th position. This was an excellent score considering a triple bogey 7 on the 13th hole. She also had a bogey at the par 3 11th hole but posted four birdies at the par 4 2nd and 16th, the par 3 6th, and the finishing par 5 18th.
Emily shot an 80 placing her joint 32nd. Emily had two double bogeys at the 3rd and 14th and 6 bogey's at 4th, 5th, 6th 8th 16th and 17th. However she did birdie the 2nd and 10th hole.

Carly is teeing off at 12.22 and Emily at 12.58.
Best of luck to both
EMILY AND CARLY BOTH QUALIFY

Emily Ogilvy and Carly Booth are both qualifiers for todays final two rounds at the British Womens Championship. Emily didn't score quite as well yesterday with a 78 but this was good enough to be in joint 17th. Carly shot an excellent 75 and has already completed her first round this morning and has posted a brilliant 72. This should move her closer to the top before this afternoon's round.

Unfortunately Roseanne Niven missed the cut by only one shot.

I will try to keep you posted, however a little thing called work keeps getting in my way!

EMILY SITTING TIED FOURTH

Team Member Emily Ogilvy is only two shots off the lead at the British women's open amateur golf championship at Nairn Golf Club. Emily is only one over par and sitting equal 4th at present. This is an even greater achievement considering Emily clawed her way back into contention from four shots in a bunker at the first hole. A great show of determination on her part. Roseanne Niven is also playing well at 4 over which is equal 21st and Carly Booth at 5 over par is equal 29th.
However several hours of unrelenting rain is threatening today second round. Four pin placements have been changed and the green keeping staff are working relentlessly to keep the course playable. Hopefully the rain will stop and play will not be disrupted.
We wish the girls well today.
