A MESSAGE FROM RETIRING CAPTAIN

Below is a message from our retiring Captain Pat Colquhoun

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for their help and support throughout my term of office as Captain. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to be County Captain and I certainly could not have done it on my own.  You have all been wonderful buying and selling raffle tickets, bag packing and supporting the meetings.

Our juniors have excelled this year and are a great credit to the County.

Hopefully I will be fit again for the start of next season.

Also a big thank you to everyone who bought an LGU Breakthrough cancer pin. I know some of you were disappointed when they sold out at the AGM but most generously still put a donation in the box. I shall order up a refill bag of 50 at the start of next season and everyone who missed out will be able to get one then.   For the box of 50 which was sold, I have sent off a cheque for £82.

Wishing you all continued success  and good health in 2014.

Sincerely

Pat

NICOLA RUNNER-UP OF THE SLGA JUNIOR CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS

Nicola Robertson finished runner-up in the SLGA Junior Champion of Champions at the Dukes Course on Sunday. Conditions were  windy with cold miserable showers so a score of 74, one over the  CSS was excellent. Winner with a 73 was Lauren White from St Regulus and the National Junior Champion was third with a 76.  Eilidh Watson finished with an 81. Well done to both our girls for keeping Perth and Kinross name to the fore.
