RESULTS FROM STRATHMORE

Firstly I apologise for this being posted so late however poor Alison has been having issues with ClubV1 which have yet to be resolved therefore the scores have not been sent to your clubs via CDH. ClubV1 are trying to rectify this for us, so please bear with us. However we can let you know that the CSS was 73, if your score is going to effect your handicap please let your handicap secretaries know.

Gwen's nett score was also the best of the day with a nett 67. It was a good day for Gwen's as Gwen Tate returned a 2 under nett score of 71.

P&K County Champion has done P&K proud by lifting the North of Scotland Championship. Super proud of her.

UP DATE

Quick update, kindly provided by Laura Walker, Eilidh is 2 up through 13.

FINALS DAY

Eilidh Watson is playing in the final of the North of Scotland this afternoon after a very tight semi final against fellow club and team mate Jen Saxton. Eilidh won the match by 1 hole.

Eilidh will play Gillian Paton who beat number 1 seed Kimberley Beveridge in the other semi 3&2

Good Luck Eilidh. We are rooting for you

NORTH OF SCOTLAND

The North of Scotland Championship is currently underway at Kemnay Golf Club. Three of our members made it through to the Scratch Championship they were Eilidh Watson who returned a 73 and is seeded 2, Jen Saxton returned 74 and seeded 3 and Laura Walker 81 and seeded 7. All players are members at Muckhart and were members of our victorious team at the recent Jamboree.

All players made it safely to the 2nd round, unfortunately all three players are in the bottom half of the draw therefore Laura and Eilidh met in the quarter finals where Eilidh won 4&2. Jen beat Jackie Brown 6&5 and also made it to the semi finals. Sadly both will meet each other this morning.

The semi finals are as follows:

Kimberely Beveridge  v Gillian Paton
Eilidh Watson v Jen Saxton

In the Handicap Section three members qualified, they are Brenda Kerr (Blairgowrie) (29) seeded 2, Susan Ogg (Dunkeld & Birnam) (19) seeded 6 and Val Purdie (Dunblane) (18) seeded 9. Both Susan and Val made it through to the quarter finals where unfortunately they both lost their matches.
