FANTASTIC FUNDRAISING
Congratulations to all the P&K Committee and especially Pat for the hard work and effort to raise funds for the county. Below is a message from Pat with all the figures,
Whisky Raffle’
Whisky Raffle’
My grateful thanks to all who sold and bought the tickets for the gallon of
whisky and signed flag and poster from the Curtis Cup. We are indebted to Shona
Leighton for her most generous donation of the whisky and to Alison Houston for
the Flag and Poster. Sincere thanks also to Carol Lambie for taking the last two
items and having them beautifully framed.
The magnificent sum of £741 was raised which far exceeded my
expectations.
Again thanks to all who came to Asda in Perth on Sunday and bag packed. I
think everyone enjoyed their stint and worked very hard.
Again a great result with £658.38 collected at Asda and a further £55 in
donations from parents of juniors who with other commitments were unable to come
making a grand total of £713.38. The juniors who turned out were a credit to the
County and the adult members who came to help were terrific. Hopefully it will
also have raised the profile of the County as many shoppers asked what we did
exactly.
It was disappointing that many who will benefit from the coaching were not
in attendance.
May I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and every good wish for
2013.
