PITLOCHRY MIXED OPEN TEXAS SCRAMBLE
Kathleen Duncan sent me information regarding Pitlochry's Mixed Texas Scramble. Please teams can be made of all men, all women or a mixture of both. Pitlochry are hosting this years Jamboree...could be good practice!!

SILENT AUCTION
The closing date for items to feature in our Auction is drawing near. We are still looking for golf related items of any description - equipment, rounds of golf, coaching etc.
We hope to have a final list by the end of March and bids will be accepted between 12th April and 5th May. You can email your bids or bid by phone. More information will be available nearer the time.

JUNIOR GIRLS GLENEAGLES SCHOLARSHIP
The junior girls have now
completed their course of golf instruction from Matthew Galley and the team at
Gleneagles Golf Academy.
All eight girls acquitted
themselves admirably and displayed enthusiasm and commitment despite the cold
harsh conditions the Perthshire winter presents.
“Well Done” Megan Ashley
Alyth, Katie Bell Milnathort, Rachel Calder Kinross, Faye Mathieson Kinross,
Amy Mitchell Strathmore, Shannon Pook Auchterarder and Katriona Taylor Crieff.
The girls would like to record their “Thanks” to Matthew and all the team
involved in their tuition.
It was difficult to separate
four girls for the Gleneagles Scholarship. The girls chosen are, Megan Ashley,
Rachel Calder, Amy Mitchell and Katriona Taylor- Congratulations !
We look forward to watching
all the County Girls progress.

CONGRATULATIONS KIRSTY
13 year old P&K County Junior member Kirsty Brodie (Strathmore) has been selected to represent Scotland in Team 2 at this years SLGA Under16's Championship at Strathmore Golf Centre.
The Championship is played over 2 days on 10th and 11th April. Although an individual tournament there is also a Team Event. Teams from England, Ireland, Wales and also various European teams will contest for the trophy. Two teams have been entered by Scotland and they are as follows:
Team 1: Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne), Hazel MacGarvie (Ladies Golf Club, Troon), Claire Robertson (Carnoustie Ladies)
Team 2: Kirsten Brown (Strathaven), Kirsty Brodie (Strathmore), Charlotte Munro (Gullane)
Reserves: Mirren Fraser (Powfoot), Joanne Free (Gullane)
