AMAGALMATION PROPOSAL & AGM NOTICE

Amalgamation Proposal & AGM Notice

For the Urgent Attention of all Ladies Sections, Clubs & County Associations.

Please be advised that a postal mailing was issued on Friday 19th December to all members of Scottish Ladies' Golfing Association with notification of our Annual General Meeting. I am delighted to advise that included with the mailing is the final proposal document for the amalgamation of the Scottish Ladies' Golfing Association Limited and the Scottish Golf Union Limited. Alongside the amalgamation proposal are a number of supporting documents that relate to the proposed creation of a single unified governing body for amateur golf in Scotland. The Amalgamation resolutions are included within the AGM Notification and we would like to encourage as many of our members as possible to attend the meeting and vote on this important aspect. The AGM will be held on Saturday 7th February 2015 at The Marriott Hotel, 111 Glasgow Road, Edinburgh, EH12 8NF at 11am.

The votes of our members are critical in this process. Should you be unable to attend in person to vote, please do take the opportunity to return a proxy vote to the office ahead of the deadline date of 12 noon on Wednesday 4th January 2015.

If anyone has any queries regarding the voting process then please contact the office on 0131 339 3987 or email admin@slga.co.uk

With best wishes for the festive season from all the SLGA Team and we hope to see as many of you as possible on Saturday 7th February 2015.

Regards
Karin
