HANDICAP LEAGUE WINNERS

 

The AGM and prize giving for the  Perth and Kinross Ladies Handicap league was held at Murrayshall golf club. Congratulations to clear winners of this year's Loch Leven's Larder trophy - Dunning. Murrayshall and Kinross were in the runners up spot, with Murrayshall taking the second spot on a games count back. Our picture shows Moira Lumby (Handicap league original organiser) presenting the trophy to Jan Rae from Dunning.

Thank you to Murrayshall for being coordinator for 2015. Auchterarder  Golf Club will be coordinator for 2016.

Scottish Golf - Regional & National Forums

Congratulations to our Past Captain, Carol Muir, who has been invited to be part of the Working Group to oversee the process to consider Regions (Areas and Counties) and establish regional and national forums, as referenced in the amalgamation proposal. 

The new Board agreed that both issues are inextricably linked and the group will lead a process to engage and consult with Areas and Counties to determine an agreed way forward for regions and forums.

The Board has therefore established a Regional Forums and Regions Working Group comprising;

As you see Carol will be part of a prestigious group and we wish her well in her role. 2016 will be an important year for everyone involved in Scottish Golf.

The first meeting of all areas and Counties to discuss these important matters will be held on Sunday 31st January 2016 at Gleneagles hotel at which P&KLCGA will be represented by Alison Stockley, Moira Begbie and Pat Hebner.
