AVRIL KER is Perth and Kinross top seed at Glenisla


A fabulous round by County Squad member Avril Ker saw her qualify in top spot at a blustery Glenisla yesterday. Avril matched the CSS with a great score of 73 - one ahead of Carly Booth, who is the No 2 seed, and three better than third qualifier and defending champion Roseanne Niven.

GIBB TROPHY QUALIFIERS

An impressive net 69 gave Susan Ogg of Dunkeld & Birnam top qualifying place in the Gibb Trophy. Avril's daughter Alison Ker qualified second and a further family connection saw Roseanne's younger sister, Annabel Niven qualify in 4th place.
