HOME INTERNATIONS NEWS!

Yesterday Team player Carly Booth along with her fellow Scottish team mates came back from 1-2 loss in the morning to win the opening day against Ireland 5-4. Below is the full results:

Kelsey MacDonald & Carly Booth lost to Danielle McVeigh & Charlene Reid 3 and 2.
Louise Kenney & Pamela Pretswell bt Gillian O’Leary & Victoria Bradshaw 4 and 3.
Kylie Walker & Megan Briggs lost to Mary Dowling & Sarah Cunningham 5 and 4.
Singles (4-2)
Carly Booth bt Danielle McVeigh 2 and 1.
Pamela Pretswell bt Murphy 1 hole.
Kelsey MacDonald bt Mary Dowling 3 and 2.
Kylie Walker bt Niamh Kitching 3 and 2.
Laura Murray lost to Gillian O’Leary 3 and 2.
Louise Kenney lost to Charlene Reid 3 and 1.

In the other match Wales beat England by a resounding 7-2.

Today Scotland played England and following the mornings play were 3-0 up. Carly again was first out partnering Kelsey MacDonald and they won their match 2&1, however England came back fighting and took 3.5 of the possible 6 afternoon points making the win for Scotland 5.5- 3.5. Results from the day are as follows:

In the other days match Ireland and Wales are level pegging 4.5 - 4.5 with one game to finish.
