THE SCOTTISH GIRLS (CLOSE) CHAMPIONSHIPS AT RANFURLY CASTLE

The Perth & Kinross Girls have done very well at Ranfurley Castle. 

Emily Aird (Blairgowrie), Nicola Robertson (Dunblane New) , Eilidh Watson (Muckhart) and Kirsty Brodie (Strathmore) progressed to the Match Play stages, whilst Jennifer Duncan (Auchterarder) qualified for the Ainsley Salver rounds. See previous reports for all results.

Nicola and Eilidh progressed to the Quarter Finals where Nicola beat Lesley Atkins (Gullane) 5 & 4.  Eilidh was beaten by Tara MacTaggart (Minto) 5 &4.

In the Semi Final Nicola was beaten by Connie Jaffray (Troon Ladies) 5 & 4.  No disgrace when Connie played to level par and went on to win the Scottish Girls Championship beating Tara McTaggart in today's final.

Well done to all our girls for a great performance doing Perth & Kinross proud.
