THE MACKIE BOWL - WINNER BREAKS COURSE RECORD

Huge congratulations to Lorna McClymont (Mingavie) who not only won the Mackie Bowl at Gullane today, but also set a new course record over the Gullane No 1 course.

Lorna McClymont (Mingavie) followed up her stunning first round score of 65 with a second round score of 69 to win the Mackie Bowl by five shots on a fantastic 14-under-par total of 134. Lorna's first round score of 65, which included nine pars, seven birdies and one eagle, was a new course record. 

Former winner, Tara McTaggart (Minto) finished second with scores of 70 and 69 for a total of 139. Penelope Brown (Worthing) was third on 140 and Eilidh Briggs (Kilmacolm) was fourth on 141.

Leading the way for our Perth & Kinross Squad members was Jen Saxton (Muckhart) who finished tied in 5th place on a four-under-par total of 144. She was followed by Zoe Morton (Auchterarder) who finished tied for 10th on a one-under-par total of 147.
