Congratulations to
Lanarkshire Ladies' County Golf Association who won the 2022 Scottish Women's County Finals at Kirkcaldy on Sunday.
The Scottish County Finals were held at Kirkcaldy Golf Club from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 August. The four Divisional County champions fighting it out to be the Scottish County Champions this year were: Aberneenshire (North), Galloway (South), Fife (East) and Lanarkshire (West).
In the end,
Lanarkshire emerged as the victors. They beat Fife by 6.5 - 2.5, Galloway by 8 - 1 and Aberdeenshire by 8 - 1 to win the title by 6 points. Fife were second on 4 points and Galloway third on 2 Points.
It is the first time Lanarkshire has won the County Finals since 1988, when they won at Prestwick.
