JUNIORS AND SENIORS GET TOGETHER
5 County Team members and 5 of our juniors got together at Alyth golf club yesterday for a greensome competition. This is the 2nd year of this informal get together and will become a permanent end of season fixture. The 5 juniors who took part were Fiona Allen (Auchterarder), Lucy Gilmour (Strathmore), Eve Muirhead (Pitlochry), Annabell Niven (Crieff)and Jacqueline Sneddon (Alyth). Each of the juniors were paired with a Senior Team Member and played 18 holes in greensome format. The level of play by the juniors was most impressive. P&K have a huge depth of talent within the junior section, our future certainly does look bright!
Although the weather was not particularly kind the rain did stay off for most of the day and all 10 players enjoyed the day and look forward to our next meeting.
The results were as follows:
Jane Yellowlees (Murrayshall) (4) & Eve Muirhead (Pitlochry) (10) 72.6
Dawn Butchart (Strathmore) (5) & Lucy Gilmour (Strathmore) (17) 77.2

Roseanne Niven (Crieff) (3) & Fiona Allen (Auchterarder) (20) 78.2
Jillian Milne (Craigiehill) (5) & Annabell Niven (Crieff) (15) 79
Our thanks go to Alyth Golf Club for kindly providing courtesy of the course.
