P&K COUNTY JUNIOR GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Crieff Golf Club extended a warm welcome to the County junior girl golfers on Sunday 25th May, although, the weather was not quite as welcoming. The girls had gathered with their families to play in the scratch and handicap championships.

There were nine girls competing over the Ferntower Course and young Olivia Griffin returned her best ever score for 9 holes on the pretty Dornock course.

The results were:

3rd handicap              72    Shannon Pook Auchterarder 108 (36)

9 Hole Champion       58     Olivia Griffin

Shannon Pook recorded a 2 at The Wee Knock 4th hole.

The SSS for the Ferntower is 74 and four girls played below their handicaps. Well done!

The County girls all sat down together and enjoyed a meal from the Club's new caterers,followed by the presentation of the Cup and prizes by Carol Muir, Perth and Kinross County Ladies Captain.
