5 County Team members and 5 of our juniors got together at Alyth golf club yesterday for a greensome competition. This is the 2nd year of this informal get together and will become a permanent end of season fixture. The 5 juniors who took part were Fiona Allen (Auchterarder), Lucy Gilmour (Strathmore), Eve Muirhead (Pitlochry), Annabell Niven (Crieff)and Jacqueline Sneddon (Alyth). Each of the juniors were paired with a Senior Team Member and played 18 holes in greensome format. The level of play by the juniors was most impressive. P&K have a huge depth of talent within the junior section, our future certainly does look bright!

Although the weather was not particularly kind the rain did stay off for most of the day and all 10 players enjoyed the day and look forward to our next meeting.
The results were as follows:

A winning weekend for Carly!!  Posted by Hello

Carly Booth along with her partner Craig Watson, Scotland men's international team captain and former British amateur champion, went on to win the Scottish mixed foursomes golf title at Stirling Golf Club on Sunday with a fantastic level par total of 72, one stroke ahead of Simon Hislop and Martine Pow (Selkirk).
It was a family affair for Roseanne Niven who played along side her brother Fergus and returned an excellent score of 77.
Well done!!

Carly Booth battled through awful conditions to become the 2004 Champion of Champions. With gale force winds and horizontal rain the elements were not kind to the Club Champions of P&K on Saturday 11th September, however the competitors showed great determination and only one NR was recorded.
A huge thank you goes to Gleneagles who once again provided courtesy for this event.
The results were as follows:

Carly Booth (Auchterarder) 79
Sarah Herd (Dunblane) 82
Dawn Butchart (Strathmore) 85

Fiona Ramsay (Killin) 88 bih
