P&K COUNTY GIRLS' PLAY IN KINGSBARNS GIRLS' CLASSIC
Two of our P&K County Junior Girls had fantastic time at the 2022 Kingsbarns Girls Classic today.
Zoe Davidson (Alyth) and Lauryn Henry (Milnathort) represented P&K Ladies' County Golf Association in the annual Kingsbarns Girls Classic.
They played alongside Sherri Underwood, secretary of St. Andrews Ladies' Putting Club. Although they weren’t in the prizes they all had a great time and played really well on the spectacular Kingsbarns, finishing 8-under-par in the texas scramble.
Thanks to Kingsbarns for their exceptional hospitality, Scottish Golf for organising the event and finally to Sherri for her time and enthusiasm.
Congratulation to Lara Douglas and Megan Fallon, who along with Scottish Professional Louise Duncan won the Team event.
The Kingsbarns Girls Classic was first played in 2018 as part of the legacy from the 2017 British Women's Open, which was played at Kingsbarns.
Each County in Scotland is invited by Scottish Golf to select two County girls to take part. Each County pair is joined by a Scottish female PGA Professional or Scotland Squad member. The format is a Texas Scramble.
