In League A, after a close contest and on countback, Crieff came out on top. In League B, Auchterarder were the winners.
The neutral venue and date for the final between Crieff & Auchterarder has yet to be decided.

U16/U14 GIRLS' OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP - CARDROSS
Well done to P&K County Junior Lucy Moran (Milnathort) who enjoyed competing in the Scottish Golf's U14 Girls' Open Championships at Cardross at the weekend.
Playing amongst an international field, Lucy's first round wasn't as low as she'd hoped but she improved on day 2 and played to her handicap, resulting in her handicap index coming down to 9.5 and helping her to move 10 places up the overall leaderboard.

HOME INTERNATIONALS - FINAL DAY
After an early 7.30am start, the Scotland team rallied to win 4 - 3 against Wales in the morning foursomes.
The afternoon singles were a tight affair with the result being a 7 - 7 draw. This gave Scotland victory over Wales by an overall score of 11 - 10 to secure 3rd place in the Home Internationals.
The other match between England and Ireland would be the title decider. After England led 5-2 from the morning foursomes, they went on to consolidate their lead by winning the afternoon singles 7.5 - 6.5. The overall result was a victory for England 12.5 - 8.5.
Congratulations to England who have won the Men & Women's Home Internationals 2023 at Machynys.
England made a clean sweep by winning both the women's and men's competitions.

COMRIE GREENSOMES - MON 11TH SEPTEMBER
Our final County meeting this year is a Greensomes at Comrie on Monday 11 September.

HOME INTERNATIONALS - DAY 1
Following on from last year's inaugural combined team format for the R&A Women’s and Men’s Home Internationals, teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales – made up of 16 players (seven women and nine men) – have now gathered at Machynys, Wales to compete in the new format across three days.
Over 18 holes, each match consists of seven foursomes games (three women and four men) and 14 singles games (six women and eight men). Team positions will be determined by the highest number of match points.
Scotland were drawn against the current trophy holders, England, for the first day's play. After the morning foursomes, England led by 5 points to 2. In the afternoon Scotland won 5 of the singles matches and halved 2, with England winning the remaining 7, England won the afternoon session 8 - 6.
Overall match score England 13 Scotland 8.
A long, hard day for the players and they have to do it all over again from 9am tomorrow against Ireland, who were victorious over Wales by 13.5 points to 7.5 today.
