JUNIORS' WINTER COACHING

The last coaching session of the year for our Juniors was held from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday 25 November 2018 at the Gleneagles Golf Academy.

Short game was the focus of the day.  To add to the fun whilst they honed their skills, there was also a little team chipping challenge.

Despite the weather, there was a really good turn out by the Juniors.  Well done girls, keep practising!

KINGSBARNS GIRLS' CLASSIC VIDEO

The new golf development event for Girls was hosted by Kingsbarns Golf Links and supported by Scottish Golf Ltd & Fife Golf.  All of the Ladies' County Golf Associations in Scotland were invited to send two girls.

SENIORS' WINTER COACHING

The first Winter Coaching Session for our Senior Squad will be held from 10am to 1pm on Sunday 9 December 2018, at Strathmore Golf Club.

Karyn Dallas will be taking the session on the driving range & practice facilities.

KINGSBARNS GIRLS' CLASSIC

The inaugural Kingsbarns Girls' Classic was held on Saturday 3 November 2018 at Kingsbarns Golf Links.  The new golf development event for girls was hosted by Kingsbarns and supported by Scottish Golf Ltd. & Fife Golf.

This year, all of the Ladies' County Golf Associations in Scotland were invited to send two girls.  In addition to the 4-ball better ball stableford competition, there was also a coaching clinic by Ladies' European Tour member Heather MacRae.

Cathy Lambie (Crieff) & Amy Mitchell (Strathmore) represented our County.

Our congratulations go to Eva Woodward & Natalie Fowler from Stirling & Clackmannan who were the winners of the 2018 Kingsbarns Girls' Classic.

What a fantastic opportunity for all the girls that attended!

JUNIORS' WINTER COACHING

There was a great turn out by the girls.

CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS RESULT

14 Champions took part in the P&K Ladies' County Champion of Champions at Dunblane today.   The winner was Isla Moncrieff with a scratch score of 78. 

The win tops off a fantastic year for Isla Moncrieff who not only won her club championship at Pitlochry, but also at Aberfeldy.  Well done Isla!!

P&K AGM

Last night was the P&K LCGA AGM at Craigiehill Golf Club. Above is a selection of photos of our prizewinners and committee members.

Our Captain Jillian Milne chaired the meeting which saw some changes to the committee members, details of which can be found in the Committee link at the right hand side of the website.

County Secretary Jane Yellowlees is in the process of finalising our meetings for 2019. We will post details of the fixtures as they are arranged. A dedicated link is also on the right hand side of the website so keep an eye on this as it will be updated as each meeting is arranged.

CONGRATULATIONS MUCKHART

Pitlochry was host to last nights Scratch League AGM which was chaired by Kay Knight. The winners of the scratch league for 2018 was Muckhart. Huge congratulations to all the team

Muckhart won the league with 6 points. Second place went to Strathmore with 4 points.

Our September Meeting was held at Crieff on Monday, weather was mixed, some started wet and others finished wet, but at least it was not cold. Thank you to CRIEFF GOLF CLUB for their help and hospitality, the Golf course was in excellent condition, and the catering was excellent.

It is with great sadness we announce the sad passing of Dianne Wallace. Dianne was a long time member of the county and a great friend to many. Our thoughts are with the family.

Dianne's funeral will take place on Tuesday 4th September, Dundee Crematorium at 1.15pm.

Blustery conditions for today’s competitors with those playing in the morning getting in dry.  The early pm players were less fortunate with intermittent outbursts of rain throughout their rounds.  Thanks to the North Inch for their hospitality and for presenting a good but challenging course.
