Congratulations to Heather Anderson (Blairgowrie GC) who won the Scottish Senior Ladies Matchplay Championship at Kemnay GC, Aberdeenshire for the 2nd time. Heather qualified following 2 x rounds of stroke play last Tuesday/Wednesday and coasted through the knockout stages on Thursday/Friday to the final, beating Janice Paterson of Drumpelier GC 4&3.
Gillian Wallace, Blairgowrie GC, also qualified for the
Knockouts but was, unfortunately, beaten at the 1st extra hole in the
semi finals.
Well done to both, keeping P&K’s name to the
forefront.
