P&K member Isla Moncrieff has played her way into this afternoon's Highland Women's Open championship scratch final at Pitlochry Golf Club her opponent is past P&K Team member Sal Shepherd (Craigmillar Park). Sal now lives in Edinburgh and plays for Mid-Lothian county. Sal defeated Laura Walker in the mornings Semi Finals 4&3. It was a very exciting match with a better ball score of 5 under!!
Isla who was three up at the turn against Pitlochry Club mate Laura Campbell and birdied the 10th to take a four hole lead. She went on to win 5&4. This is Isla's first appearance in the final and although Sal has never won the title this is her sixth appearance in the final.
