Scottish Women's Amateur:
There was a dramatic finish to Saturday's quarter-final matches after both Jen Saxton (Dunfermline) and Cameron Neilson (Alvaneu Bad) needed extra holes to secure their place in Sunday morning's semi-finals.
Having completed a comfortable 6&5 win against Emma Logie (Forfar) in the morning, Jen Saxton had to dig deep to turn around her quater-final against Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne). Two down on the 17th tee, Saxton managed to square the match at the 18th before going on to win the first extra hole. Saxton will meet Lorna McClymont (Milngavie) in Sunday's semi-finals.
Lorna McClymont ended the hopes of defending champion Chloe Goadby (St Regulus) with a 4&3 win in the morning before easing her way through to Sunday's semi agaist Saxton with a comfortable 4&3 win over Penelope Brown (Auchterarder) in the afternoon.
Like Saxton, Cameron Neilson needed an extra hole to make it through to the semi-finals, ending the fine run by Robin Fowlie (Forfar) who had seen off the top seed, Jasmine MacKintosh (Murcar), in the morning.
Neilson will meet Kate McIntosh (Broomieknowe) in Sunday's semi-finals. McIntosh secured her place with a 5&3 win over Megan Ashley (Blairgowrie).
