Commiserations to County team member Roseanne Niven who lost in the 3rd round of the British Girls' Amateur Championships today. In a very close match, Roseanne lost 2 & 1 to the 7th seed Charlie Douglass from England. Sally Watson was the only Scottish girl to progress to the quarter finals. Carly Booth lost to Henrietta Brockway and Kelsey MacDonald lost to Kelly Tidy from Manchester.
Our congratulations to Roseanne and all of the Scottish girls for their achievements over the past two weeks.
