The Scotland team scored a terrific victory today over the England team by 7 1/2 points to 1 1/2 in the Girls' Home International Matches in Wales. County team member Roseanne Niven came back from 3 down in her singles match to win by 1 hole at the eighteenth.

ENGLAND 1 1/2 , SCOTLAND 7 1/2
England names first.
Foursomes: E Givens, H Barwood lost to K Caithness, S Watson 4 and 2;
K Tidy, R Dyer halved with C Booth, M Briggs;
R Connor, K Mundy halved with K MacDonald, R Niven (1-2)
Singles: Givens lost to Booth 4 and 2, Tidy lost to Watson 2 and 1, Douglass lost to Briggs 3 and 2, Clyburn lost to Pretswell 2 and 1, Connor lost to Niven 1 hole, Barwood halved with Caithness (1/2 -5 1/2)
