SCOTTISH GIRLS’ AMATEUR - KATY IS IN THE FINAL!

Perth & Kinross County Girls' Champion Katy Alexander (Blairgowrie) is through to the Scottish Girls' Amateur Championship Final this afternoon.

Top seed Katy Alexander (Blairgowrie) booked her place in the final with a 2&1 win over Freya Russell (Royal Troon) this morning. She will play against Eilidh Henderson (Loretto) in the final.

Unfortunately, Kirsten Miller (Strathmore) is out of the Girls' handicap championship. After a great run in the championship, she lost against Lucy Morrison (Craigmiller Park) by 5&4 in her semi-final this morning.

In the Scottish Boys' Championship, Andrew Thornton (Muckhart) came agonisingly close to making it to the final. Having been up for most of the match, he lost to Ruben Lindsay (Ayr Bellisle) at the 20th.
