Scotland’s Hannah Darling leads by one over compatriot Chloe Goadby heading into the final round of the 2021 Helen Holm Scottish Women’s Open.
17-year-old Darling carded a second successive five-under-par 67 to finish the second day on a ten under par total of 134. While this year's Scottish Women’s Amateur champion, Goadby, birdied the last to post her own 67 and go into the final round a shot behind on 135.
The two Scots will go out in the last group for the final round. Breathing down their necks will be the 2019 Women’s Amateur champion, Emily Toy, and the 2020 Australian Women Amateur champion, Charlotte Heath, who both finished their first two rounds with an eight-under-par total of 136.
The cut fell at eleven-over-par total of 155 with the top 60 players progressing to the final round today. They will include our 2021 Ladies' County champion, Megan Ashley (Blairgowrie), who followed up a first round of 72 with a 74 to tie for 17th place on a two-over-par total of 146.
Unfortunately, her P&K County Team mates, Emily Aird (Blairgowrie), Katy Alexander (Blairgowrie) and Kirsty Brodie (Alyth), all missed the cut.
