TWO SCOTS SELECTED FOR GB&I CURTIS CUP TEAM

Scotland's Hannah Darling and Louise Duncan have been selected for the 2022 The Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup Team.
The 2022 Curtis Cup:
The Great Britain and Ireland team is to play the United States of America team in the 42nd Curtis Cup at Merion, Pennsylvania from 10-12 June.

Last year’s amateur girls’ champion, Hannah Darling (Broomieknowe), and women’s champion, Louise Duncan (West Kilbride), are among the eight strong team heading across the Atlantic in June aiming to regain the trophy held by Team USA since 2016.

It is the second call-up for both Scots who were part of last year’s defeated team in Conwy, Wales.

Charlotte Heath (20, Huddersfield, England)
Caley McGinty (21, Knowle, England)

Reserves:
Lottie Woad (18, Farnham, England)
Beth Coulter (18, Kirkistown Castle, Ireland)

GB&I Captain:
Elaine Ratcliffe (49, Essendon Country Club, England)

Captain Elaine Ratcliffe said:
"I would like to congratulate these eight players on their selection to the Great Britain and Ireland team. The Curtis Cup is one of the highlights of the amateur game and I know they will all put in their best performances at Merion."
