Dryburgh was given the honour of hitting the opening shot of this year's AIS Ladies' Scottish Open, but she had to wait two hours for the fog to clear before play could finally get underway.
After a "nervous" tee shot, the 27-year-old Scot went on to shoot a two-under-par score of 69 to finish two shots behind leader Nicole Broch Larsen.
Fellow Scot Kylie Henry finished with an even-par 70, while two-time former champion Catriona Matthew had to settle for a 74 after a bogey-bogey start.
Denmark’s Nicole Broch Larsen recorded a four-under-par round of 67 to hold a one-shot lead from five players at the close of play on day one.
After a delayed start 27 players were unable to complete their round last night, but Larsen maintained her lead going into round two, as none of the players completing their first round this morning made it to four-under-par.
